KPN is working on a project called ‘Klasse Contact’ (Class Contact) and with success! For a coupe of years they are helping children who cannot go to school because their disability. So whether someone broke his leg and has to stay home for a couple of weeks, or someone fighting for cancer and is not able to leave home for a longer period, Class Contact can help them. Now KPN has released their newest device from the Class Contact project. The device makes it looks like the kid at home is actually in the classroom, sitting at a table. The boy or girl can see his or her classmates, friends and the teacher and the other way around. When he or she wants to ask a question, they simply raise a hand. It’s like they never left. A great evolution in the health sector and a great improvement for the quality of life for these children.
It is very sad that many children are not capable enough to go to school. No matter what the cause is, every kid should be able to study. But a phone- and television provider from The Netherland, KPN, is working on a project for a couple of years to help children who are not able to go to school because they have a disability.
