It looks like yesterday Airbnb started and now it has grown to a big moneymaking company. It took over the hotel branch worldwide and even caused many bankruptcies. Now it looks like Aribnb is making its next move by taking over the travel agents, tourist information offices and tour guides with their newest concept: Airbnb Experiences. With Airbnb Experiences you can contact a local for all kinds of activities, all in reach of a mouse click. So for example: Paris like a Parisian/Off the Beaten Track, An Urban Hike Through All-Natural SF or Beer and Art with Locals in the Mission. Let’s be honest: who knows a city better than locals? They have been experiencing the city for years. So it’s, just like the normal Airbnb, a great gift for both. Locals can earn easy money and tourist can have a cheap but good tourist guide. Now everyone can arrange its own vacation from beginning till end from his computer. It’s DIY, it’s authentic, it’s glocalisation, it's Experience Economy.
